The office building located within the premises of Nepal CRS Company Pvt. Ltd. at Tokha Madevtar, has an area of 675 sq m This is the first PEB steel structure office building in Nepal designed to address the seismic vulnerability of the district. The building incorporates ultra-modern architecture as well as a flexible and technologically advanced working environment that is safe, secure, healthy, and comfortable. The design, which embraces the concept of greenness, is calculated to minimize energy consumption by capitalizing on natural light and ventilation in most areas.

Description of project:
Prestige Apartments in Ward No. 4 of Chandole, Kathmandu, are residential apartments with neoclassical architecture ultra-modern interiors. Constructed on sloping ground with consideration of Vaastu sastra, this 15-storey building incorporates two levels of basement parking and 46 apartments, including three penthouses. The complex facilities include a health club, swimming pool, café plaza, community hall, visitors’ lounge, information desk, grocery store, and landscaped garden. It has all the requirements of modern life, making it friendly to children, the differently abled, and senior citizens.
The design is based on green principles: it relies on solar energy, a rainwater harvesting system, and natural light and ventilation systems. The apartments are divided into three zones: private, public, and services.
The utmost importance was given to providing the very best of modem facilities to the residents. These include topnotch security and fire protection systems and an earthquake-resistant structure, all surrounded by greenery.
My son engineer Shikhar Singh Shah contributed greatly to the design, construction and management of this project. He is also the former executive director at Prestige Developers Company, Pvt. Ltd.

Description of project:
The UNDP Office in Nepal assigned us the task of assessing the current storage capacity of the LMD at Teku and Pathalaiya with due regard to various parameters such as total volume and capacity; appropriateness of the storage facility in terms of the locations and numbers of existing stores and the scale of demand; construction with respect to space, design, and the adequacy of all health commodities; equipment and instruments; and the safety and availability of accessories for safe storage for strengthening the central storage capacity to make it appropriate for efficient logistics management, particularly in terms of long-term reproductive health commodities (until 2030). My consultancy designed the master plan for this project.
Location – Sudal, Bhaktapur, Nepal
Description of project: The master plan, which covers 7241.54 sq m, includes two hygienically planned RCC pharmaceutical buildings with a total built-up area of 3807 sq m. The structure was designed with due consideration for future expansion, both vertical and horizontal. The contemporary-looking design incorporates technologically advanced infrastructural service systems for mechanics, electricity, drainage and security, and an attractive landscape. Since it is a health-related building, hygiene was taken into account in selecting interior and finishing features such as flooring, wall paint, rounded edges to prevent the accumulation of dust, and false ceiling. All these features meet World Health Organization standards.

Description of Project: This is 9 Storied Commercial complex with basement parking for around 25 cars. It is constructed within 2 Ropanis of land with total Built up area of 34,310 sq.ft. and belongs to very famous business family of RB Diamond Jewelers. It was initially designed for their own personal need to house their own manufacturing unit along with their jewelry showroom for exhibiting their products to regional and international customers. But, due to its location and design the objective of the building has changed and now it is used as a commercial and institutional building. Its architectural look is completely based on modern architecture with flexible and interchangeable interior space for any kind of use as per its needs.

Description of Project:
Vinayak Apartments located in Ward No. 4 in Baluwatar is a mid-rise residential apartment housing project based on modern architecture. It has eight stories and 21 executive residential units with different floor areas and facilities. It has a rooftop penthouse, a swimming pool, and gym facilities. It has a total built-up area of 50,000 sq. ft. and basement parking facilities for 25 cars. The building is designed to be green (it capitalizes on natural light and ventilation) and adheres to the principles of vastu-shastra. The apartment is environmentally friendly and safe to live in as earthquake resistance is factored into its construction and design. It also has a visitors’ lounge and an information/security control desk at the entrance.
Location – Chitwan, Nepal
Description of Project:
The project includes an administrative block; academic buildings, including pre-primary, secondary and higher-secondary buildings; boys’ and girls’ hostels, a dining hall and a cafeteria, a library, a multifunctional hall, and staff quarters all designed in a contemporary architecture style. The complex also has a swimming pool, outdoor and indoor sports complexes, and a football ground. Currently, the complex is being used by a medical college and hospital.
