Description of Project:
Summit Hotel in Kupandole, Lalitpur, is a boutique Hotel built in traditional Nepali architectural style with a brick façade; carved wooden doors, windows, pillars, railings, and tunal; wooden flooring; and sloped roofs with jhingatri. The layout is L-shaped and has a unique yet conventional design. It is surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden and has a swimming pool. The building consists of a single-wing block with front balconies with natural light and cross-wind ventilation in each room. The design was selected to enable guests to enjoy the beauty of Nepalese art and craftsmanship as well as have a serene, comfortable, and relaxing stay with plenty of natural light and ventilation.
Location: Gairidhara, Kathmandu
Description of project: Spread across eight ropani of land, this is a multipurpose venue which hosts a variety of events such as weddings, gatherings, family functions, ceremonies, and business seminars. Its total capacity is about 700 to 800 people. The design of the venue was inspired by neoclassical architecture. It has one main hall and an attached kitchen as well an additional block with suites, meeting rooms, a VIP lounge, an outdoor swimming area with deck and bar, and ample parking space.
